Originally born in Los Angeles, I grew up in North Dakota, graduating from Mohall High School. Attended North Dakota State University, where I earned a BA in History and BS in Political Science. I came up just short for a minor in Spanish, however I did earn a Minor in Russian (through Concordia College). I took part in a May Seminar at Concordia College, which was my last class before graduating, a 5 week trip throughout Russia just week before the overthrow of communism. It was on this trip, my "last" undergraduate class where I discovered my future career which was in Int'l Business.
From there, I earned my Masters Degree in History from Mankato State University, and met my future wife. Eventually we settled down in Brooklyn Park, where we have lived since 1998.
